Question 33 12.5 r15 on tahoe 98

I have a 98 chevy Tahoe Sport 4x4 and currently using 265/75 r16 but would like to buy bigger tires. I was tinking on buying the MT/R on 33 12.5 r 15. I went to a local store and they told me that it would just need a little tirmming on the front fender. Some people tell me I need a body lift (3"). Some one else tells me that a body lift will cause my radiatior to be disalligned with the motor fan and will cause overheat. What should I do ? and what is the biggest tire I woul be able to put on truck without any major changes? Can any body help me decide?

Based upon what we've tested it will probably rub and/or need some modification. Since we guarantee all our fitments we don't have the best information on oversized fitments. The best source would be the Tahoe part of this forum or Tahoe specific fitments such as:
