BTW tires should always come first!
Coilovers are not over kill for the street, in fact in many ways someone who is more serious about tuning a suspension finds it much more ideal than piece mealing together suspension parts. x shock is not created to work in harmony with x spring and x vehicle. Most quality kits remove those factors, and create a solid setup, that rides comfortable, is balanced, and can be corner weighted. Most of your Street coilover kits have spring rates that are surprisingly low. Anyone however who does not know the how and why a suspension works and can't identify, what the following terms are should rethink doing anything to the suspension pitch dive squat corner weighting corner weighing compression rebound spring rates camber caster toe alignments At the very least understand that before slapping on an adjustable suspension, before you are in over your head and wasting money on something you have no idea on how to set up.

I agree, tires should come 1st.
Also knowing what each part does is helpful. |
