I was wondering what puts out more hp and performance a cat back exhuast system like GReddy or a Performance Exhuast like a HKS Hiper System? I in debate on which one to get. Also can you put a cat back exhaust system with a HKS Hiper Exhaust? Thanks, Gabriel.

If it's HP you are looking for, catbacks are better than just an exhaust. It creates better flow. Just adding an exhaust looks good, but the performance end doesn't really change a whole lot. In most cases, you can put any kind of catback in, and usually put any kind of exhaust onto it....

the greddy and the hks are both cat back systems. your best bet is to go with a cat back system like the hks hi power, greddy evo, apexi n1, etc.. don't go with an axle back or a universal muffler. i have the hks hi power and i love it. the quality is great and it sounds really deep and low. it doesn't buzz at all, even when i take it up to 8k rpm. i think you go the two mixed up a cat back system is a exhaust system that replaces the pipping from the catalytic converter all the way back. an axle back is just the pipe from the axle back and the universal muffler is just basically the muffler that you weld onto the stock pipping.
