Cool will installing front strut bar make tire worn out less?

I have civic hx 99.. and was wondering if strut bar will make tire worn out less.... and if it will save gas too?

What's good about installing strut bar?

An upper strut bar will not affect tire wear. It will not affect gas mileage either. It will stiffen up the upper strut mounts from lateral flex.

Yep, if ne thing it will worsen tire wear because its reducing body roll, and reducing the weight thats put on the outside tire while cornering, causing the car to understeer (hence makes the car not want to turn), because there is no weight on the tire so it kinda slides accross the ground in away.

Some one correct me if im wrong.

well you're not wrong, but you are kind of over-exaggerating. strut bars only really become effective once you take sharp turns at 60+mph, which is just

1. stupid
2. going to wear your tires out anyways.

as far as day-to-day driving, i don't think a strut bar will wear out tires any noticeable amount. good point though

p.s. my first point about turning at high speeds ("1. stupid") does not concern autocrossing...
