price on this crx?

Alright, seeing how i live in southern california where every other car has altezza's or modified in some other way, the area of my city happens to lack any decent modified cars. Its a bunch of old people in these streets or a bunch of kids. Anyways, some dude down the street is selling his yellow CRX. Its obviously a custom paint job cause it fades into a black back. He has a kit on it that actually looks decents (blitz possibly). So on the way home i pull up next to it and get out and read the piece of paper inside the hatch window.

For sale:
something like: SI 1.6 ZC motor (70,000)
DC ceramic header
custom cat back with 3" piping
short ram intake (can't remember brand)
New molded body kit
two tone window tint (wasn't that dark)

I can't remember the other stuff but from looking at it, some other mods were:
Two 12" JL subs in a custom box carpeted to match everything else.
Some decent silver rims
Seats were upholstered in yellow/black
Its was dark but it also appeared to have his dash painted yellow in some spots.
Most of the stuff he listed dealt with either motor or suspension.
$6,999 asking price.
worth it?

i'd pay like $4000 for that....people are asking way too much just cause the modded their car and are trying to make there money back. too bad for them.

I'd say 6grand, no more.....and thats only if the thing has ZERO rust. Check everywhere, rocker panels, under the bumper supports, everywhere. Get that thing on a lift if you can.

Personally, I'd just buy an clean stock si civic/crx for like, and do a Zc swap myself. Its more fun to do the transformation yourself, instead of buying someone else's project.

.
rust isnt really a problem here in cali unlike PA, so if it does have rust its very minimal
