Just do it...
But do it for the right reasons... if you are scared of losing, you are not a true car performance enthusiast. If you feel bad because he could spend more money on a more powerful car than you, then you should not call yourself a car performance junkie. It is not about winning or losing, it is about competing. If you gave it your all, and you feel bad 'coz he has a faster car, it says nothing about HIS and YOUR abilities. Only that both of you are childish enough to let your ego's be determined by something as stupid as having the more powerful/expensive car.
If, on the other hand, you do race him, lose, smile about it and tell him he has a pretty fast car, but you can fuck like a tiger, he will realise just how infantile he is... I have lost races to cars less powerful than mine, because they could DRIVE better. I have beaten others because I could drive better than them. In the end, it comes down to the competition. I can just about kick anybody's ass that I know, I mean that literally, I love a good fight, not for winning or losing, but competing, and the day someone hands me one of my own teeth, it will mean he ws a better competitor. I will not, however, feel bad about it... Neither should you...

Aiight guys thanks for the info.
I think I will race him as soon as I get my short shifter tommorow or thursday. Even if I lose oh well, I mean he has 124hp and I have my D15 92hp engine. Btu then again I did mod it, lol.

I would race him just to get him to shut up. Like someone else said, if he wins and trys bragging about it, just remind him you have a little DPFI Fuel Economy car, so its no big deal.

hahaha...traffic jam...i say get one of those fake intercoolers that are plastic...tape it in the grill..then get one of those fake turbo whistlers...and just have a fake turbo system and scare him!!! or just race who gives a fuck...you'll learn how to race, maybe launch better.... shift better... test yo baby out!

I had a friend that bragged about how fast his saturn was. I shut him up real quick, and that was when I had the d16a6 in my car.

The Twincam has 124 HP - the SOHC either had 85 or 100 HP.
But yeah, race him anyway...you'll use less fuel than him during the race at the very least.
