Kid wants to race me!
Theres this kid who really wants to race me. I dont really wanna race him but he wont shut his mouth about how fast his car is and how mines pure rice.
He has a 1995 Saturn SC2, manual tranny. It has a 1.9 liter 124hp completly stock engine. I have a 1990 Honda Civic LX, manual tranny. I have a short ram intake and GT Spec muffler. I am a pretty good driver with stick and I dont know how good he is. Should I back off or will I look like a wuss. I know he will call me one if I do. I mean if you guys think I will at least stay with his car i will race him. But if he will smoke me then i dont wanna race. Thanks, Owen

Sorry about that it is a DOHC the SC1 had the SOHC, the SC2 has DOHC

i think the 1.9 DOHC is like 150hp but i could be wrong.. but if im right, you will get your ass handed to you :S

 Ask him if he wants to race in reverse, around a corner, & downhill. Then you might have a chance because he's more likely to crash.  or maybe 2 cars & the go

No, I looked up the specs and it said 124hp with 118 lbs of torque.

word. my neighbor has a 1.9 DOHC saturn and he's always talking about it has 150hp and he beats up V8s and shit.
that makes me laugh now that i know its only like 124hp lol

just race him..dont be a bitch..fuck.. i race my 70 hp...40 hp to wheels civic STD all the time..im so use to losing its fun...but i have beaten escorts..other STD's and DX's...and ive also beathen some shitty truck
