Opinions Needed (pics would help): Tanabe Racing Medallion Exhaust vs Thermal Exhaust

K, i've decided to not wait for SKunk2 and now i have it narrowed down to 2. There are three factors that i have for my exhaust so i want everyones opionion as to which exhaust wins in each category.

1) Which looks better on a crx?

2) Which is gonna sound best with D16A6 and AEM CAI (i want a low tone, but a loud sound)

3) Which one will give me the best performance increase (i know its small, but which ones's higher)?

I cant wait to hear ur opinions, im gonna order one of them either today or tomorrow, so plz post asap. Also, if u have any pics of either exhaust i would really appreciate it. Thanx all in advance

Tanabe is a better exhaust....... Looks alot better, sounds alot better... Performance is a nice gain but not much different than any other system....

Little late buddy, j/k. I read reviews on both and both seemed great, the main reason i decided to get the thermal is that its $100 more, and everyone it seemed like although Tanabe may be a little better, it didnt seem like its gonna $100 better.

Got my exhaust today too

Yo..
Good to hear on your Thermal purchase. - It is going to be a long week waiting for it!!!!!!

I got my custom 2.25" cat-back exhaust with a turbo muffler installed today. It sounds nice...No resonator and doesn't seem to need one. I even get a nice little growl out of the mighty 1.5L - LOL!

You should hear my exhaust, sounds like a pissed off chainsaw(everyone else says weed-eater, but I refuse to call it that). I had a glass pack put on it when I was in my ricer days, also had the resonator cut off, but that was because it was breaking on me. Can't wait till I actually get a real exhaust though, get rid of my ricer mistake.

man i would have went with the tanabe racing medallion. i wish they made them for my hatch. dont they come out diagonal, i love the look oif the medallion on a crx, diagonal rules. plus tanabe will give you the best performance. and your car will be head for miles, i want my car to be heard.

You are thinking about the Apexi R1.... Tanabe does not come out at an angle and also only the hyper medallion was made for our cars as far as I know.

Not sure what u meant by "our" cars, but they do make it for my rex, and ur right they dont come out at an angle. I heard Thermal got a nice low deep but still loud tone, and that sounds perfect.
