Question Civic SI vs Spec-V (2003) opinions???

Hey
I am new to the site. I am going to be purchasing a car over the next few months and I have narrowed it down to the 2003 Civic Si or 2003 Nissan SE-R Spec-V. I was hoping to get some imput and opinions to help me make up my mind. What do u think?
Thanks

Spec V by far, it runs low 15s, thats just as fast as a lude, up to the 1/4 mile that is

2003 civic si, AFAIK runs high 15s.

Now modification wise, as you know there is a HUGE aftermarket for Civics, can't say the same for Spec Vs. So if you are into hardcore modding, you can probably make your SI much faster.

Choice is up to you.

get an older car and mod it yourself, the new si isn't that great........the spec v is not bad, but not a big aftermarket for it as PreludeFanatic said

if u're going for a new car, go for the wrx

Hey!

If you wanted to get a Civic, I strongly suggest getting an earlier model considering they are a bit more performance oriented. And if you really want a Sentra, I suggest dropping an SR20 crank into the QR25 block. That would give you an SQR21.4DE with a 1.75:1 rod ratio and the ability to rev higher than the SR20 ever dreamed. By the way, I'm 14 yrs old, and live in Ottawa. Peace :flash:
