R.I.P Jeff Conner 1/19/06

Last night a young man at the age of only 17 passed away due to accessive speed and not wearing a seatbelt. He was a great kid and a good friend to all who knew him. He will be missed ~ R.I.P Jeff Conner 1/19/06

I will take this time to remind all of you not to speed but if you do atleast buckle up...

Thankyou

East Northport teen dies in crash

FROM NEWSDAY.COM

January 20, 2006, 9:34 AM EST

A 17-year-old East Northport boy was killed last night when he lost control of the truck he was driving, according to Suffolk police.

Jeffrey Conner, 17 of East Northport, was driving a 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck westbound on Bellrose Avenue in East Northport when he lost control on a curved portion of the road, said police.

The vehicle flipped over onto the driver side, skidded and struck a fence before it flipped back up and rolled into a parked vehicle in a driveway, according to police reports.

Conner was transported to Huntington Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check.

Yes, I used to be good friends and as time passed we just said Hi & bye and once in a while see each other at a party here and there. I'm pretty close with his best friend who I'm worried about. I can't even imagine losing my best friend...

that's real sad, i'm sorry to hear that. hope you and everyone else close to him pulls though.
i hope people reading this will see the reason why setbelts are in your car, and actually use them now on. anyone who says it's uncomfortable should be slapped. i always make sure anyone riding in my car, even in the back, wears one.
