Marbles in my door?

Hi Everyone,

I know this is going to sound crazy but I have a 92 Saturn that has a sound every time I brake to a stop or apply the gas from a stop that sounds like marbles or small 1/4" beads that roll back and forth. I tried a search hear on noises but I didn't find anything similar. Has anyone heard of anything like this or what the sound may represent? Sorry, the noise is coming from the driver side door or just below that. Can't tell for sure.

Thanks,

Robin R

Re: Marbles in my door?

that i'm not sure about. mine is broke so it doesn't stay on, i just hit it back in once every few days. but it looks like most of it you can just pry/pull off(like the radio trim) but my window hand crank holds it on i didn't try to take it off

Thanks everyone for your reply, and I apologize for not getting back over here until now.

Actually the Aurora forum is what brought me back this way, as I may have another issue with that auto. However, I thought I would take a peek at this thread, and sure enough some of you have added a few posts.

Gosh I hope it is not the drums. But I've gone ahead and sold the car anyway. They gave me $2,000. The car was in great condition even tho it did have that occasional rattle of like rolling marbles. The car had only 79,000 miles on it, so I believe they still got a good price on it.

Well again I want to thank everyone of you for your support.
