do u need turbo software?

If u make a kit for ur car do u need any enhancing software, or can u just bolt one on and go? i heard if u get a FMU u wont need anything else like fuel or for ur ECU. if u bolt a turbo on will it throw ur ECU for a loop without any software for the car.

Hmm,

I can think of no EFI, Electronic Fuel Injection, engine that can not handle 6 psi with no modifications. And with normal format that is good for a 100 hp bump.

For 6 psi to 9 psi you will need added fuel, RRFPR, Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator.

For 9 psi to 12 psi you will need ignition timing modification, the added ECU ot timing control.

For anything over 12 psi you will need added internal modifications and modified fuel and timing control monitored by a wideband o2 sensor.

Later,
