Need turbo help!
I'm putting a 1994 R32 Rb26dett 4wd set up in my 1970 240z and and I have found another R33 engine Vspec engine that I can buy for $2600 US plus it comes with an extra set of R34 stock ball bearing turbos. I plan to keep the R33 engine as a back up and put the r34 turbos on the r33 engine. Is there any difference between a Vspec R33 engine and a Non Vspec R32 engine? Is there must to be gained using the R34 turbos over the R32 or R33 turbos? Also, what would a used set of R34 turbos sell for?

There aren't any major differences on the engine but the R34 turbos are much better than R32/R33.

From what I was told, they spool a little faster. I do know for a fact that you can get more boost out of them. R33 only .9-1bar while the R34 1.1-1.2bar. You can always go more, but with them being ceramic I would not dare push them to their limits.

R34 turbos are not steel, they are ceramic and plastic
