Coilover question
I purchased some coilovers for the 03 tib. V-6 GT. When I went to install them I found a gold colored cap on the top of the shock(not the very top the part where the smaller rod enters the shock.) I asked the shop where I bought them what to do about the cap because the sleeve of the coilovers wouldn't fit. They said I need to knock it off with a hammer. Does that sound right to anyone else? Please help.
