Coilovers have threaded sleeves with collars that go over the shock body. To raise or lower the car you must raise or lower the collar with a little tool (included with the set). You simply turn the collar left or right (on the threads). Most people are forced to put the car on a jack and pull the wheel off since they cannot reach in far enough to be able to accuratly change the height of their setup. The order does not matter, you can start and end on any wheel, it makes no difference.

It depends on how low your car is, how low your sideskirts are, and where you are parked.

You can use any jack to jack up your car, just make sure you use jack stands when working on your car AND NEVER USE THE JACK TO SUPPORT THE CAR WHILE WORKING ON IT. If you car is very low drive up on some 2x4s then slide the jack underneath. I'm dropped with Ground Controls and I have to drive up on a 1" thick board.

Don't waste money on jack stands. Buy cinder blocks from Home Depot. jack the car up and then rest it on the block(s) once you get the wheel off.

Wherever you would put the scisor jack the car came with. Usually right behind the front wheel there is a metal flange it can rest on, and directly in front of the rear wheel you will see the same.

The cinder block actually should not be under the flange, it is better if it is under a flat section of the underbody so that is sits level. Sorry for the confusion.
