2000 Chevy Malibu Electrical issue

Been having an electrical issue with my 2000 Chevy Malibu on most of my start ups. After starting up the car, the dash board lights up and gauges do not work, no power windows, no a/c and my auto headlights do not come on unless I manually turn them on; I also noticed the cruise control does not work as well. Otherwise the car drives with no other issue. after a few minutes there is a weird hum from what seems to be under the steering wheel and everything begins to work. I'm sure if I do some more research I will find something but any leads will be greatly appreciated.

Re: 2000 Chevy Malibu Electrical issue

Did some more research and came across a few sites that pointed to an "Ignition switch" issue.

Re: 2000 Chevy Malibu Electrical issue

Last night I changed my ignition switch and all seemed to be working well thus far. No sign of the symptoms that had plagued my car.
