351 changeout in a '54 F100
Hi, all. Been reading through here, and it seems there's quite a few of you that are pretty familiar with the 351 C,W &M engines. My brother in law picked up a '54 F100 that someone had dropped a 351 Cleveland into (according to the seller). I'm trying to determine if it's really a Cleveland or not, and not sure just how to go about it.
In a search, I found this old thread (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...=351+cleveland) but posts #3 and #5 are in total disagreement with each other. Can anyone here offer me a link to somewhere that I can confirm the thermostat placement question? Thanks in advance to anyone willing to share some wisdom on this. |
