What year of Miata is most tunable?

To be more specific, what year has the most tuning options and aftermarket items made for it? I am considering on picking up a used Miata in the near future but I don't know what year.

If it helps, I will most likely either turbo it or get the JC supercharger, and do some minor mods under the hood goal is minimum 250hp. I don't plan on racing or turning it into a show car, I just want something that will go fast and handle extremely well yet still looks somewhat good. The biggest mods i'll do would be to the suspension. I wanna get it to corner like its on rails so that means lowering it but that also means speed bumps are gonna hurt so maybe something like an airstrut but $$$!. Not only that but the roads are horrible where I am and theres snow 6 months of the year. I'll probably also do something with the clutch and shifting to get some really short throws, probably something from ACT. The stock wheels are gonna have to go too... Those Enkei DM5s or the Arashi are lookin pretty nice!

I don't really need a 450hp monster.. although it would be fun to own.

All the Miatas from 90-97 run the same suspension, and all the 99+ cars run the same suspension. Most of the parts are interchangeable between the two, but I think the 95's and 96's are a bit better because of the OBD I engine management being easier to deal with then the OBD II cars.
