Question

Just wondering, I personally like the 2001 Dark Bowling Green Convertible with a tan top and Tan interior. I want the polished wheels, six speed, Z51, ISC package. If I had an extra 50+ grand I would want a Z06. Woud be nice! Lets hear your favorite year or years!

This was a really tough call. I think I like the styling on the C2 & especially the C3 more, but I just had to go for the C5. Z06's rule, man, what can I say? Basically, if I were to be given a car, I would take a stingray...but I would rather buy a C5.

69 Sebring Greenwood Corvette

69 Sebring Greenwood Corvette has got to be not only the most unique, finest style, but as fine a car ever. I still don't understand how I came to own this but Bubba is as fine standing still as it is cruising.

The finest corvette ever made is the 1969 L-88 Coupe. Tuxedo Black w/ red interior, sidepipes, and redline tires. (I am currently restoring one.) Second would have to be the Z06, also black w/ red interior (what I drive now). I also love all mid years, preferably a 66 coupe with the 427/435hp tri-power

WTF?
Sorry but te c4's continued to carry on what a corvette really is, originality.

The c5's broke that and went off with a completely UNORIGINAL DESIGN.

C4's are one of the prettiest vettes ever, and guess what its ALL ORIGINAL, can' t say that about the Firebird/Camaro/NSX/RX7 Clone called a C5.

Easy guys!! The C-5 is not really that much of a new design, but a "graduated" C-4. Parked side by side, it's easy to see the likenesses between the two. I have to say that I personally was crushed when the C-4 went with the "square" rear lights. But I guess with all things change is good, or to be expected anyway. Then I saw the "cat eye" rears of the C-5, and shook my head for a few days. I got over that one also. I love my 00' hardtop.
You don't have to like previous or current Corvettes. But realize that without the previous model, there wouldn't be a current model. And todays model, the C-5, will be tomorrows (C-6) building blocks.

hard choice

I had to go with the C5 just because of the Z06, I've seen 3 of them and every time i catch a glimpse of it i go bonkers and scream like a little girl.

Even though I have a Tourch Red Hardtop on black my favorite vette would be tie between a millenium yellow on black coupe or a Tourch Red on tan coupe. I like the fastback looks of the coupe and the rear hatch reiminds me of the canopy of an F-16. Although if I were getting another it would be a millenium yellow on black Z-06, because of the power increase and it as HUD now. That is the only thing I hate about mine is not having HUD. I would ditch the Z06 wheels and go with BBS or something because i think the Z06 wheel looks to "ricey". I replaced the wheels on my 99 with chrome 2000 style, and it makes a world of a difference the 97-99 wheels look cheap. If only Z06's were availeble as coupes. My least favorite vette are the Ragtops because I think large obtuse rear is to noticeble on the roadster especially the lighter colors.

I'm thinking most of the people voting must be young....(ie to them newer is better). The most notable Corvette is simple. 1967 L-88. Almost 600 HP from the factory. No comparison. Why else would it be THE most expensive vette around today? Costs as much as an original Cobra. Not to mention most true 'vette enthusiasts would have to go for any '67. But then again....I'm biased!
