What year motor, for what year car?

So I am picking up this G20 I bought. But the motor will need to be swapped. I am also picking up a 95' DE motor locally here. Can I put this in the 91' G20 without any problems? What about legal issues? Is that going to be a problem? I tried searching, but we all know how the search option has been lately.

Thanks

The 95 is OBD-II and the 91 is OBD-I. You'll need the correct catalytic with O2 sensor and the ECU from the 91 will need swapped out with a 94-96 ecu.

There is prob' a few other things you'll need to do, but I don't know.

just curious, how much did you pay for that DE. if the price is about the same you might want to look into a DET perhaps?

Fack, so more trouble then its worth, right?

The motor I am buying is nowhere near the price of a DET.
