Re: Where do you build?

Hey guys, Ray pointed us today here: great topic, also I guess a lot of new members'll give contributions. I just love the matter, in the italian forum we have a fun thread like this one: it help to show a side of our character (my contribution is obviously mess-like )

so far a covered portion of my studio where I turn, mill and use my airbrush (note the best spraybooth brand)

since my studio is under the home i stealed a room from my kids, here I've the stash, the pc and the bench, and.. the bloody mess

Well I save you from the planes side and from my RCs babies, so, just post your: it could help us all to improove and newbees to plan the workshop

Re: Where do you build?

Mike, Nice Calender, and Lego Enzo? Cool.

Here is mine, I work on the kitchen table, and spray in the garage. I'm not really set up for model building, live in a three bed house and no room for a table to set up correctly. LOL.

TBH, I set up on the table as I thought I'd build a few, perhaps get bored and give up. Over a year now on the kitchen table, and still mullering kits. I hope one day to buy a compressor, and I'm eyeing up another section of the kitchen table, soon it will be mine...

It is a tad cramped, reason I think I tend to drop so much stuff and damage like I do.

Pennzoil that I need to finsh and the dreaded Fujim WRX STi, that has nearly been thrown out the window. Also, next projects all lined up, looking foward to having a go with the bike... Back to good old Tamiya.. Oh how I was wrong to call them.. LOL

Re: Where do you build?

thats my work area...cramped.

got the volvo on top of the tub with the morgan in it. then you've got a boat which is my side project. the white piece of paper is where all the action happens. at the back theres 2 storage boxes for my paints and infront of that all my spray paints.
the rest is general stuff that you 'collects'

Re: Where do you build?

my workplace looks a lot like JE123's but i have to clean up and hide everything underneath my bed once im done cause its also the breakfast and dinner table. Sucks when youre in a small 1 bedroom apartment. Oh well, thats how it is for a Hispanic in Bush/Chaney's America.

Re: Where do you build?

This is my desk:

Inside the wardrobe over it I have tools, models...

And some inspiration on the wall

I have another desk in the balcony, I use this place just to paint. The green and silver thing on the table is my drying booth:

And my paint booth:

Re: Where do you build?

I was going to start a new thread for work spaces, but I searched first and found this one. (I'm not your typical Noob!lol) Anyways, here is my work space. I just started building again after a 10 year break. These are the only kits I have right now, I am always buying more.

I also have a Tamiya S2000, and YZFM1 to build. I am working on my R32 right now.

Re: Where do you build?

I do my model work at an old office desk in my basement, surrounded by the shelving and boxes that contain the 800+ kits that I've accumulated over the years.Sorry,no pix-I'm computer ignorant.
