Question Why did u Buy a 4th Gen???

I just wondered why everyone chose a fourth gen over anything else,

I bought mine because I couldnt find what I wanted,

A Rover Metro Gti 16v, they are a 1.4 MPFI 16v, K series engine 105bhp

I couldnt find one, so I went to look at the civic coz i was getting fed up, liked it, got a quote for insurance, saw that the insurance was cheap so I bought it, and I will probly stick with them for years to come now

well my first car was a 90 civic hatch. it was gold and lowered on some konig monsoons. lost my job and couldnt pay on my loan so i sold it and payed off the loan. got a lowered mazda truck. sold it to my brother a year later and bought my blue 91 hatch. took out a personal loan and bought wheels, body kit, paintjob, etc. took 3rd place at carlisle and it got totaled 2 days later by some drunk kid running a red light. i payed 1100 for that car and the insurance company gave me 3500 and i got to buy it back for 350 bucks. i stripped everything off of it and sold the motor and hood to a friend for some extra money. got the red 91 hatch because i had all these parts to put on it and i would have lost money if i tried to just sell them. picked this one up for 2000 off of some old guy that took damn good care of it. 63,000 miles on it and it was absolutely spotless. all the parts from the blue one are now on this one.

o yeah i also had a 4th gen sedan. i bought it cause it was 50 bucks and i got 17,000 miles out of it before selling it for 150 bucks.

my first car was an '86 civic. my aunt bought it brand new with zero miles. shortly after her job gave her a co. car. the civic got passed around the family a little. i knew eventually it was going to be mine. sure, enough at 190,000 in '94 it was mine. wheeeeeeee! then i totalled it (doh!). when the 88 civic was first produced i was in love. i hated the flat rear hatch window of the 3rd gen. so my next car was a 4th gen. between work and school i had no time to look for a car. so my dad & uncle went out with my cash in hand. that night when i came home there was a 90 dx in the driveway. this was back in '95 so i believe the car had less than 60,000 and was around $6000 (after tax, license, and other bs). i wish i had some pics it was the color of cwbetb's hatch. the car was 100% mint condition.

that car was traded in when i was 8 months pregnant for a 4 door accord. 2 years later that was sold for the dirty dirty dx

that car pissed me off. didn't even keep it more than 6 mons :hehehe:

which brings us to the Si :jump:

there you have it...thats my story....and i'm sticking to it
:silly2:

I just wanted a CRX 'cause I always thought they were cool looking cars and plus I wanted a car that parts were cheap for seeing as everycar I had before hand (1990 Camaro 5.0, 1990 Turbo AWD Talon, 1987 Turbo Daytona) cost me out my ass in part money.

I went to ebay and typed in "CRX" and just started drooling
That was another reason, cheap accessories! And LOTS of em!

God damn I miss my Turbo AWD Talon now that thing was very fast-very easy-but parts HAH I had to sell for $500 'cause my tranny went

$1000 for a USED AWD tranny-what so I can put it in and it break 3 months later?
