Question Fuel filter location

Where is the fuel filter located on a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis?

Re: Fuel filter location

Not positive on a 2000 but most of the later GM's have the Fuel Filter right by the rear driver's wheel (underneath the car). You need a screwdriver or nut driver to remove or loosen the clamp and take the plastic clips on either side of the filter off. Let us know if you find it!! MB

Re: Fuel filter location

It's on the inside of the frame rail just in front of the passenger side rear wheel. Be sure to depressurize the fuel system before removing.
