I have a 2004 Kia Rio and want to change the fuel filter, "per DTC P0139". For the life of me, I can not find where the filter is. I looked at a service manual pic on the net, it showed located right of the tank ? no luck ? STUMPED.

Re: ? Can't locate fuel filter location
Update. I found that the fuel filter is located in the fuel tank. What a bunch of crap... Remove back seat, remove plate, remove fuel pump, replace filter,........ 10 minute job made into 1 hour by KIA... guess they need the money in their service dept. Later.

Re: ? Can't locate fuel filter location
The majority of autos now have the fuel filter incorporated with the fuel pump, you're not alone!
