4 Pt Safety Belt vs. Standard

What are your opinions on using 4 point safety belts in place of the normal retractable 3 point??

Are there any advantages / disadvantages??

well the advantage is that you spread more the force of impact over two shoulders rather than one.

Be sure to get really good quality ones and the mesh should be 3 inch wide(again spread the impact). Bolt them to the FRAME!!! Remember your life depends on it.

One thing that 4 point won't solve is submarining onlu 5 ang six point belts solve that problem.

you can also tighten a 4 point belt much tighter than a factory belt, and you won't move around as much. your factory belt doesn't do much for holding you in when you're just driving, but if you're driving harder and moving around, the 4 point belt is a welcome change, b/c it's HOLDING you in, not just preventing you from flinging forward if you hit something...
