1/4 mile times
I was wondering if any one had aproximate quarter mile times for a 2001 325i. I want to race my friend, who drives a 99 V6 mustang, i figure he is gonna win. I would just like to know by how much. It would be alot of fun to beat him in a "4 door family car". Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

I've found some of the times on that site to be inaccurate. I do understand that there are several contributing factors to the times.
Man I want your car so bad. I am thinking about getting like a mid 90's 325is. I love those cars.

the car is completely stock with the 325 motor (there is only one). The Mustang is also stock, al the way down to the orginal tires, which by now are bald and give no tracktion. I also believe due to inexperience the driver of the mustang will sleep at the light and i will get a big jump. thanx for the imput. Looks like i should be able to beat him, if i can ever get him to the track. sorry this has been so long but i just wanted to add that i did run the car one night (of course the mustang was no where to be seen) but the car ran a 16.5 at 85 mph. not bad.

I raced him, his car being a stock 99 V6 mustang with automatic trany, and mine being a stock 2001 325i with auto. I killed him off the line thanx to a much faster reaction time, 0.699 versus 1.539, then the E.T. was still faster a 16.5 to a 16.7. I felt great. Then later that night he hooked up good off the line and ran a 16.403. go fig.
