Which hatch would you choose???

well since the vw i have is just for show i need an everyday car. im looking at 2 different ones right now. one is a 94 hatch with carbon fiber hood, lowered, B20 vtec with ross pistons, 270cc injectors, 70mm throttle body, skunk2 manifold, ericks racing ecu, fuel pump, type R cams, dual valve springs, port and polish, and some other stuff. very well done i might add. the other is a 93 hatch with an H22. for all i know the H22 is stock but brand new. the B20 vtec has only 3k miles on it. which would you choose???????

dont mean to brag but im just excited about my VW. its one of 4 in the US. 2 are ever driven and mine is one of them. extremely rare!!!!

uhhh i dont think that the h22 is faster
that b20 is rated at above 230hp at the wheels. not to mention 195 lb/ft of torque. i think its a LITTLE faster than the h22........

Both sound bad ass. I'd get the H22 just cause it be easier to maintain as a daily driver. I'd suggest buying a bone stock one and doing the work yourself. Where's the fun in buying a tricked out one? Just my $.02

oh yah and about buying a stock one and doing it myself.....
id love to but i still live with my very strict parents. they would never let me "waste" my money by laying down 3-4k on an engine swap. i can do little bolt ons here and there so im looking for a stock looking 5G hatch with swaps already. thats why.....
is that a valid reason????????

that is 1 bad ass ride !!!!!!!

i understand your point about building your own ride, but i just don't think that buy'n someone elses problems is a good way to go..my .02 cents.. and if your parents will allow you to throw your loot down on a car that is already been built and beat on.. you need to explian to them that cars are your love and if they won't nurture your love for cars then there not doing there job as parents....plus building your own ride is much more rewarding... :bandit:

And then both of you guys w/ you sewing maching powered cars get passed by a moped w/ a 5hp Engine and he goes on to put 5 car lengths on you. Racing an EX vs a DX is like a 10 speed bike vs a golden retriever.

theres a bunch of pics here.....
http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/batmblevw...tos.yahoo.com/

thanks shep. im glad someone on this board likes it. i was afraid i was goin to get flamed for it.

and as for telling my parents about not nurturing my interests, believe me ive tried. no matter what i say they think its a waste. id rather buy a car that very recently had the swap done, deal with the little things that they may have done wrong and still have the opportunity to do the little things to customize it.....
by the way either car will have rota slipstreams when i get it. noone can change my mind about that. i love those rims and te real spoons are too expensive.
