Which header would you choose?

OK I found two headers I am interested in. One is a used DC sports 4-2-1 that was cracked, but rewelded. The other is a OBX 4-2-1 is great condition. Both are $60 shipped. Which would you choose?

Re: Which header would you choose?

Honestly, if the DC Sports one doesn't look bad and you can't see the crack/weld I'd go for that one. Just for the name really. I've got one on my car. They're nice.

Re: Which header would you choose?

Yes - I noticed a lot better low end torque and better high end rpm horse power. You'll notice a difference.

Re: Which header would you choose?

It's up to you really - do you want to spend the money, or save it for your turbo. That's the real question.

Re: Which header would you choose?

See $60 for a DC header doesn't sound bad to me. Plus I can make sure the reweld is good then do a decent paint job on it and sell it later for no less that what I paid for it.

Re: Which header would you choose?

ya - you can't paint a header, it gets too hot and it'll just melt/burn the paint off. No point in doing it. You have to either ceramic coat it or something. I don't know of any paints that you can use on a header off the top of my head. There may be some though.
