Wink Three-Pointed Star and 4WD

Started out as...

a day later...
all jurassic park details are removed, that includes the roof, front and rear bumpers and those "bar"s that are molded onto the side and rear windows. Wide fenders are put on filled and sanded and underneath are 20" Aoshima wheels.

Scratch build projector headlight housing to replicate the headlight found on the newer facelifted ML, SO THAT....

.... I can throw in these Aoshima LED kit to brighten up the ride.

Thats it for now. thanks for looking

Re: Three-Pointed Star and 4WD - M Klasse

is your building area really that dark? man I thought mine was bad!

progress looks good though. that last pic with the lights on... if you put a piece of white card board to appear like a wall, and tucked the wires down and out of site, it would look like a real car in a custom auto body shop, with that blue corrugated thing looking like a roll up style garage door! haha

Re: Three-Pointed Star and 4WD - M Klasse

Now THAT is unique! Will there be a custom bodykit in the front, or one resembling that of a real M-class?

Thanks! i will throw on a custom wide bodykit (similar to this) and finished off with Tamiya british green, kinda tired of the black or silver combination found on the benz..

More pics will be adding later thanks for all the replies!

Re: Three-Pointed Star and 4WD - M Klasse

a little update.. the body mods are basically done, first layer of primer applied to reveal imperfections that needs to be fixed or filled... still a long way to go..

I might have to get this kit, even though it's a Snap-Tite. I love those JP Ms...

I am thinking of clear styrene sheet as i will be throwing in a pair of Recaro seats and possibily a roll cage into this baby

Thanks and those are Fujimi metal mufflers that i found from my LHS

For the front bumper, i used styene sheets to create the basic structure and epoxy putty to create the shape and sculp it using diamond files
