Mercedes SL500, 3rd model...
This is my 3rd model now, and finally began to try a new clour scheme. Black seems to be really hard to make shiny, and like always, i failed to make the windows clear =(

Re: Mercedes SL500, 3rd model...
You do need practice on painting, however that really seems to be the only flaw. You have done a great job with the details, from what I can see anyway.
what makes the windows not clear? looks to me that maybe finger smudges? that is easily taken care of. Simply use some cleaner on a soft lint free cloth on the inside just before you put the chassis and body together. If it's glue, or fogging from super glue, then 1) don't use super glue on the clear parts...EVER 2) make sure your hands/fingers are clean when building It appears that you are well on your way to having a great talent, like anything else, you just need practice, and patience. Keep up the good work.
