Question Castrol Supra wheels

Hi,

has anyone built the Castrol Supra JGTC kit from Tamiya? I need to paint the white on the wheels, and I'm trying to figure the best way to do it. At the moment I think I'm going to have to hand paint it, cause masking them would be a nightmare. If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know!

get yourself some liquid masking film...

hand paint over the area you want masked, use an xacto to trim the edges and make them nice and straight...

then airbrush as normal..

pull the mask off when done.

Another way: Use liquid mask to mask the chromed areas, leave the white areas bare, remove the chrome using the bleach treatment. The wheels may not even need to be painted after the chrome is removed.
