Cable's?? On a Prelude?!
I am interested in getting a 97-01 5G Prelude. I have about 6 more months to wait, maybe less. My wife owns a 95 Integra. But I have a question. I read today that the Prelude has both a cable transmission and a cable clutch.
Is this true?? And if so, what was Honda thinking!?! Any way I can change it?

Well, I am happy to hear that it has a hydraulic clutch. I was under the assumption that it was a cable clutch.
But the cable shifter is weird. The reason that some of the other cars have purely a mechanical linkage to the transmission is for the increased ability to feel the transmission and feel what is going on inside it. That's kind of a awkward sentence, but I can't think of something better yet. The cable is okay. It means that name brand short shifters are much cheaper, but it also means that sometime in the future, I'm going to have to replace it. And does anyone know the difference betweek flamenco black and midnight black?

flamenco has a bigger flake in it and more blue/purple, nighthawk is very smooth and all blue, more pearlescent and finer than the flamenco. flamenco looks blacker also
