What annoys you at a street race or where you meet?

my street racing days are done until spring. What annoys you guys at where you guys meet or street race? i live by McDonalds, and i always see teens showing off with thier cars, they really wanna race, but i dont know why they want to. Those are the people i call "wanna-be street racers" well, wut annoys you guys at a street race or meet?

how bout i give you a story: my sister and my cousin go to the street races cause my sisters boyfriend has a eclipse gs, when they get there my cousin isn't at all impressed, the only fast car she knows of is mine she's from arkansas and were she lives there's no fast street racing cars there in the small town. anyhow, they get out the car and everyone is standing around talking and showing off there cars. the cars are honda's integras hondas integra's ummm................. oh did i say honda's? she 's loking at the cars and says(she is a very blunt person) whats so big about these cars, and they reply back look he has cold air intake headers and exhaust his car is hella fast. she says how much hp does it have, they reply 200hp. she says who cares my cousin has like 350hp
they ask what kind of car does he have, and she says a 3000gt vr4, then a guy says his car will beat ours stock but we race japanese cars she says umm hello it is a japanese car. they speak no more and are left in silence. basically i hate it when you see a 16.5 sec car with a 5hp bolt on and they make a big deal out of it.
and i hate dumb people

many many posers around here.

few actual quick cars (supra tt's etc...), but MOST are jus kids w/ fart-cans who believe they run 11's.

When I race people afterwards they want to know what the hell I did to my car.. then they try to tell me facts about my car. I hear shit like this "ooh above 80 those cars suck" I reply yeah really I had no problems going 115 when I schooled ya.

Then I ask about their car if they have anything done.. they say yeah that they got around 300-400 HP and run 12's or lower. They keep going on and on saying I should race this car and such. I never knew it but they told me every car around there has 400 HP and could beat me

Guess they dont like the fact my car doesn't have a big throaty V8 rumble and they cant grasp the concept they got beat by "one of the shittiest cars ever made" as they all tell me.

Street Racing meets are lame. Its just asking for trouble. Better to just drive around and find someone to race than have a bunch of teen dumbasses gathering around with their "hot rods".

There are a lot of things that tick me off in the street racing world.

1. When they give you no warning that they want to race you at a light. No honk, no inching, no revving, no light flashing, not even a "hey, you wanna' race?" Instead they just floor it when the light turns green.

2. Sore losers and winners. Why do people have to have such an attitude. This used to be fun, now I am just sick of being flipped off and getting ricer flybys.

3. Posers annoy me just like anyone else. Nothing is worse than someone who thinks they know everything about cars but knows absolutely nothing.

4. The Fast and the Furious and Initial D crowd who thinks street is weaving in an out of traffic or racing down a narrow mountain road. Those are the morons that get themselves and others killed.

i agree w/ u, but i actually like initial d. its pretty entertaining, but should be left as fictional, and not driving instructions.

the people who want to get even with you for being faster.
i've had so many people try to run me off the road, or flip the bird, or talk shit, or even try to get in my face afterwards...
it's amazing.

if you're not doing it for fun, don't do it.
there are so many times where someone has to prove, and be a dick about it, that they're faster...
it's not a "fun" thing anymore, it's kinda ugly.

my personal issues with racing...

any organized street racing events... 40 cars, and mad people everywhere. that's a great atmosphere for someone to get seriously hurt...

i just don't like "organized" street racing.

well im no racer because well i have a beater wut when i have gone to races a few of my biggest annoyanges were a. the "Canadian Tire specials" as we called them which were like neons and pontiacs with glitter sprinkeled on top and a no nale stereo b. the kids with a stock civic or something who thought they were in fast and furious and did a lot of talking about how "that was just like the movie!" but neglected to realize that in the movie the cars were supped up and they knew what they were talking about (the characters at least, im not so sure how much vin diesel knows about cars) c. guys with really nice supped up cars who wouldnt race because they were afrade of getting caught or whatever.
that is just a few, i am refering to races in Port Kells BC, anyone else been to them (when they didnt suck?)
