Unhappy 1991 S10 Wiring problems...

I have had a problem getting a new stereo I purchased to work. The store I bought it from apparently gave me the wrong wiring harness, but I shouldn't need it if I can figure out what in the world each of the wires that connect to the stock radio are. I'm pretty sure I have the speaker wires seperated, but the gound, 12v+ and 12v Memory are giving me fits . If any one has any info it would help a lot. I just need a "this color runs this" list or something.

The cd player is a soundstorm scd-550r, and the wiring behind the dash is all stock.

I have a 93 S-10 and the wires in the dash are all labelled to what they go to.

Re: 1991 S10 Wiring problems...

well hey if you go to ur nearest walmart or sumthing you can actually just buy a adapter that will plug into your stock wiring and then you just plug it in the back of your cd player. no need to cut wires or anything. but i will look into it more for you i own a 1991 s-10
