The Vision's first kill.

This was quite interesting since I never planned on doing this kind of stuff with this car.

Anyhow; I was headed home from work last night and I was turning left onto University Ave. Some guy was tuning right onto University as well. He was driving a newer Honda Civic; he had painted it orange and put a body kit on it with a wing that wasn't too flamboyant. He had custom rims of course. As far as I could tell he only had possibly I/H/E. As he comes around the turn he is going rather fast, it is not like I was looking for a race but I was passing him and I suppose he didn't like that so he floored it. So like instinct, I did as well. As I did I began to just walk away from him. The look on his face was priceless. Had I been in the Baron I would have just toasted his ass to a crisp but this was different. The LeBaron at least looked sporty, the Vision however; does not. After I hot about 75mph I let on the brakes and had beaten him by about four cars. He then pulls in front of me and gets in the left turn lane. At the light I look over at him to see this look of horror, as if I had taken away his reason for living, it was priceless.

And all that with the cars check engine light on because of exhaust backpressure and the engine misfiring.

LMAO. sweet kill. Honestly, I own a Civic. I'm 18. I seriously don't get what it is with every little punk bitch that owns a Civic... They somehow feel this invincibility thing. If you pass them and their just some kid they think you're trying to race or trying to start something and they'll always floor it.

CIVICS ARE NOT GODS GIFT TO RACERS

For christs sake. I own a Civic but I'm not trying to run circles around everybody on the street. Maybe because I bought it myself and know the value of it that I don't aabuse the hell out if it, whereas 8/10 of these kids mommies and daddies buy them for 'em. That's one stereotype I absolutely hate.
"when did you get a Civic"
"a few months ago"
"geez. I wish my mom and dad did that for me"

and so it goes. BITCH. I worked my ASS OFF for that money.

lol, sorry... I got off on a tangent. Nice kill. Civics aren't invincible.

I was given my first Nova, The 70, from my Mom. Some people say Oh you're spoiled. Ok, doesnt bother me that they think that.... when i got that car, it didnt run. I worked my ass off for an entire summer working during the week, then 11 hour days on the weekends. I had minimal time with my friends... but all i had my eyes on was the car. At the end of the summer, i used what i earned to get it running... a total $1,100 to get it going.

a month after it got back to running... and on its maiden voyage with my friends who all had bitchen cars. It broke down in the parking lot of In 'n Out. I was embarrashed, I was broke, I was pissed.

It took another summer of working to get it going... yet another $800. The engine block was totalled, where the starter lines up is cracked so it is impossible to keep the starter aligned properly for any length of time. So it ate fly wheels... and it chewed up a Cam shaft. I dont know how it did.. but that was $900 worth of work.... at the time i didnt know how to do Camshaft work... but i was there at my mechanics when they pulled it.. i realised its easier than hell, and now i'll do it myself whenever i need to. hahaha...

Now that i work full time, i got the New motor, the new Nova, and the knowledge to make my dream play toy...

Morale of the stupidly long story, i know how you feel. But it makes it all that much more better knowing you did it all on your own. And someplace during that fiasco with my Nova, i bought my Truck... thats another $4000. I've spent way to much money on vehicles... i could of used it for cheap booze and hookers!... or just bought a really nice car to begin with. hahah

Kudos 2 u redneck. I know exactly what you mean. Being a student and earning 11K to pay off a damn car and then put 2K worth of aftermarket shit into it after that is not easy. I get REAL heated when people mention mommy and daddy and my car in the same sentence.
