exhaust for SC

Ive been told that in order to maximize performance with a sc u should get at least 2.5" mandrel bent piped exhaust.

CAn any of u motor heads out there tell me if this is good advice? (and what the h*ll does "mandrel bent" mean?)

If so, what are some good ones to go with?

Mandrel bent means its X amount of inches all the way, even where it bends, which gives much better flow because size never changes. The other style is crush bent, where they crush it to make em curve, which cause the turns to be smaller diameter than the straight parts.
