Looking for a relatively quiet 3" exhaust for my 99 GS-T Spyder.

Although a louder exhuast tone is nice sometimes I'd like to avoid any undue attention from the cops while at crusing rpms.

I know that 3" quiet exhaust is something of an oxymoron, but I'm sure there's something out there that has a nice tone and isn't extremely loud below 3-3.5k rpm.

Hope this is in the right subforum.

Look for something with multiple resonators. That should quiet is down a bit. Not sure what brands or whatever would be best for that. Try going to an exhaust shop and get pricing for a 3" with resonators.

Also moved to Bolt-On section

May want to leave the cat on also. It will hurt performance but should help keep it quite

Re: Looking for a relatively quiet 3" exhaust for my 99 GS-T Spyder.

My exhaust is pretty quiet, especially off boost. I have a 3" with a magnaflow cat and magnaflow muffler. I would not get any resonators that would be too quiet. A cat and a non-ricey muffler should be pretty quiet.
