Normally I'm a very, very hardcore stock vehicle kind of guy. I hate seeing normally nice vehicles ruined by some stup-azz idea the driver had. Anyway, for some funky reason, I'm wanting to a stainless steel exhaust or just exhaust tips. With the exhaust or tips I don't want to change the sound too too much. I want it to sound smooth and calm without the rice-burner effect or the loud race car sound. Just a cool look is really what I'm looking for, and a boost in performance along the way wouldn't hurt.
Thanks, Jeremy |

Re: HELP!! - Looking for cool exhaust for Alero
Ive been working at a muffler shop for a while. Ive got a MagnaFlow on mine and it was a touch loud, but when we installed it we cut off the resonator. We put a Catco resonator on it and now I sound like a Grand Prix, only a touch louder. It was loud for about a week until the packing settled in. Just remember, put a better resonator in or its going to sound like a ricer on crack.

Get an SLP cat back exhaust. Doesn't sound raspy or ricey. It's a little loud if you drive on the intersate, but around town it's very intimidating.
