How much power can this thing really make
This is just a fun little topic to toss out there.
http://www.onlineshowoff.com/index.a...e=OneFastMiata everyone has seen this miata 400hp (crank) with 25psi boost I believe but this is all on stock internals, and no NOS. What can this puupy put out with the works hmmmm. already 10.9 1/4 kinda scay huh. What is the limit not yet reached on a full customized 1.8L miata block. |

Re: How much power can this thing really make
this is kindof an old thread, and I'm not a miata person (just randomly browsing the forums cause I'm bored) but no car is running 25 psi of boost on stock internals...

Re: How much power can this thing really make
depending on how much horsepower & torque, & when & how brutally it comes on, has alot to do with it. Seen'em 290hp on stock & seen'em bend rods at 240hp.

Re: How much power can this thing really make
uh....this is really really old thread....but I just noticied it.
I am the owner of the miata in question and my car has NEVER EVER seen 25psi. I've run 16.5 psi MAXIMUM. Thanks

Re: How much power can this thing really make
with the TECIII I have seen guys in the 18-20psi range with very precise tuning on stock internals. But your average turbo miata will be in the 14-16psi range max with the Link setup.
