hmmm...is that possible at 5psi
hello evo fans and lancer owners!!!!!! lol check this site out www.ddynopower.com. they are making the turbo kit which most of us already know; however, i am jogging my fuckin mind as to how in the hell they are turbo charging the 3rd gen eclipse and making twice the amount of hp at 5psi. i dunno maybe its possible. i went and talked to these sc and tc gurus here in town and they said that the atmospheric pre s .....u l.. rre and a lot of other shit i didnt understand. they basically said it had to have something else done to it. i am wondering if ddp is actually getting those results from tc at 5psi i dunno maybe they are. let me know ghost!!!!!!!!!!???? check out the 3rd gen eclipse turbos and look at the charts
peace

The compression on an NT motor is much higher than a turbo motor. That is why they are getting high HP numbers on low boost. That being said, turbocharging a NT engine is sketchy at best. A turbo engines ECU is setup to look for detonation and counter act it when it occurs. Also, the NT motor will probably run out of fuel and overwhelm the MAS with out extensive mods.

If you noticed the website, Doug recomends injectors and a SAFC. That probably means the car runs shitty without it. I wouldnt buy a NT car thinking you can buy a turbo kit for it, throw it on and run for 100,000 miles with no problems. Every NT car is going to have different requirements. Hell, my DSM is a handful to keep running perfect! Go for it if you are mechanicaly inclined and want to learn.
