Heated Seats Question

I know this has been asked before, i have a 2002 G20, with no heated seats, but remember from reading prior posts, that the heaters come underneath the seat regardless, all u gotta do is just connect a few wires, how true is this?

Yea, they are there but its more then just conecting some plugs. The heated seats are missing some stuff (dont remember what it was). So you have to tear up your seats, install that stuff and then reupholster. I got this info from my Friends Dad who works at Infiniti.

Why the hell would they put the heated seats in a car and not have them enabled? That's retarded. I don't know if mine work - well I tried them once, the light came on, so they must work - but as far as feeling any heat in the seats, there was none.

I could see Nissan installing the wiring for the heated seats but I doubt they would install a seat with the heating elements in all the cars. It's probably something that happens quite a bit.

This is good because if you want heated seats you only need the seats and the switches now. You don't have the pain of installing all the wiring.
