Heated seat question

Is there a way to program my heated seats to come on when I use the remote start feature? TIA. -Don

Re: Heated seat question

Nope - heated seats are "stand alone" system and can't be turned on remotely.

Re: Heated seat question

it can happen though, with an after market car alarm that has relays that allow the remote turn on of some features. it is along the same guide lines as if you wanted the interior dome light to light up when you start your car, or the headlights/ taillights to come on. the factory remote start won't do it--but an aftermarket car alarm with remote start and proper accessory relays will....

Re: Heated seat question

On my 05 Maxx LT If it is cold enough the seat heat will come on with the remote starter. On another matter, I would like to mount a LED on the dash to tell me the seat heat is on. The really stupid ( In my opinion ) position of the switch on the seat itself, makes it hard to see what level you have on.
