well......let me think....i think the bulbs in the car are all under 4.8V...i`m not sure...it`s either that or 12V..
..anyways check the voltage with a voltmeter...when u put in the resisters make sure the voltage doesn't go over 6V on the LED's in parallel.......... ....parallel is when u got more then one LEDs and connect them in a + to + and - to - .......don't connect them in + to -......cuz u`ll waste a lot of electric and the LEDs are gonna be really dim...!! |

dun't forget the legs on the LEDs.....the longer is the positive and the shorter one is negative.......
.......and depending how many LEDs you want in one time, alwayse wire the LEDs in + to + and - to -... ....then connect it on the source....... ....about the source....the LEDs wont light if it`s got the wrong + or - side so just play with it switching the side where it's gonna connect to the source........ ...and resisters you can put on either side of the LEDs.. |

Go to the Maxima.org website forums... there have been a few postings about replacement of LEDs. It's very do-able. Got mine looking great.
The first major trick is keeping the +/- connectors matching. Easiest way is to note how the metal inside the diode is shaped. Usually it points to the positive side. Once you got this figured out, it's easy to tell which is which when you clip the leads (you'll have to, for fitting purposes). Just make sure you remember which sockets in the board are +/-! For the rest of it, you'll need dexterity in soldering, especially when doing the driver's door.
