What brand and drivers you DON'T like.

I had this discussion in another thread awhile ago but I just wanted
to know from more people how they feel about this.

Do any of you Honda drivers have the strange feeling that
we are not taken seriously by other car brands?

I've had that a couple of times that I talk to some guys who drive
a VW or a Opel (mostly GTI and GSI drivers), and when I tell them I drive a Honda Civic they
act like "A Honda Civic.....why you drive that????"
Like a VW or a Opel is all that (and a bag of potatochips)

Anybody else got similair events?

I really don´t like both brands. But actually it´s more the drivers who I don´t like (or hate?? ). These Opel drivers are most of the time just prolly morons but the VW drivers also really think that their cars are the best on earth! (I think that´s because of the sporty design of the Golfs ) I dunno what to write anymore in the moment...maybe tomorrow!

I wouldnt say all of this brands are morns but there is a heavy majority I think. Most of the younger drivers with there ultra- heavy- modified- ultra- cool- better- the best- GTIs are really assholes. But the older ones just buy this brand of car to show the others 'See we own a VW'.
And yeah they think there cars the best on earth, especially the Golf drivers which think they have a ral sports car

It are not so much the cars, more the drivers. You can find assholes with every brand. If had guys in Honda's tailgaiting me because they wanted to show off their car. I've ones seen a Honda driver driving very slow on the left lane of a 2 lane road holding up al the cars. And when a guy tried to pass him he speeded up so he couldn't pass. Now these were assholes.

In some way I agree with you but you have to admit that a lot of german cars belong to the best (like BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi). There´s no way around that!
By the way, I hope it was just a kind of a joke but I really don´t like it when people use the word "Nazi" because IMO it only belongs into history books but not into a discussion about cars!!! We aren´t no Nazis anymore since more than 50 years (and actually most people at that time weren´t real Nazis, too! If you believe it or not...) and stuff like that is really pissing me off!

Of course you´re right with that! But IMO our VW scene for example is worser than anywhere else! But I may be wrong with that...

This thread doesn't seem to be going anywhere, so I'll give it until tomorrow before I'll close it.

I understand that for the German members the Nazi word is very sensitive. But as for Japanwings post, I don't think you should be looking for more then it says. I really don't think he meant it in a bad way. But I would like to say that everybody thinks before he types and tries to avoid situations like this and please think of the feelings of other people.

Of course I dont feel personally threatened by this its just the use of this word without any given reason!
