Question turn signal cam

I have a 91 century. The turn signal will not turn off from a left turn. I bought a turn signal cam but do not know how to get the steering wheel off and the new cam in. please help

Re: turn signal cam

You might purchase a Hanes or Chilton's repair manual for your car. There should be a step by step precedure. Take care to exactly follow the air bag removal procedure or you could set it off or confuse the air bag controller so it causes a warning light or worse.

Re: turn signal cam

disconnect battery if you are air bag equipped.

you will need a steering wheel puller to remove wheel. Once wheel is off remove black plastic cover held on by C clip. remove horn contact. Insert signal spring. Reassemble as removed.
