Well, I guess I get the 2nd post
Civics are alright IF they have the DOHC enigne, thought I still don't really like these kind of cars.
They're just too tiny, like a "toy" car.

You can do anything you want with a Civic. ANYTHING. HXMan, remember that SHO post waaay back when about a guy who saw a Civic in LA with a Jaguar V12 underhood? I'll say it again, they can do anything. And I think their small size helps the cars be adaptable, as they can be transformed into 9-second dragsters (though soon to be in the 8's - if it's not already!), nice-handling grand tourers, or flashy show cars.

That is not to say in all fairness that this can't be done with just about any car, but the Civic provides an inexpensive starting point, with a veritable world of engine, suspension, styling, and other aftermarket components, right at your fingertips. It is probably the ideal car for the restless enthusiast who loves to tinker.

Who are you to talk nizmo??

"Punks with no money drive them."

What the phuck is that? Sentra's are cool cars, but only if it is an SE-R or, a sentra with a SER engine swap.

If you owned a honda you would know what it is all about.

All right, rather than try to poke holes in your rather close-minded argument against the Civic, let me stick with this:

Why did you become a moderator of the Honda forum if you want to badmouth Civics? There's an old saying: you can't sell Chevies if you drive a Ford.

This is BS. Do I need to say more?

Listen Honda makes some really great cars, like the NSX, GSR etc.. But to say that civics are the best... "yeah that's it cool guy!!"

Civics are not the best they are "ok" cars! No offense to the SIR but the Sentra SER has and will be better!

Not to get in the midst of this "debate", but please explain. It's quite a statement to make without backing it up. Also, this is coming from the guy who thinks the Si is SOHC (BMW, M models)! Maybe you should learn about the competition before making such claims.
