Thank You

i think I heard someone say that the stock plugs which are alluminum and should last about 100K are the best ones to use.

These will easily last 60k miles in a bolt-on engine. No sweat. There have been numerous cases of these plugs with 100k miles working better than Bosch and other platinums with as few as 2k miles. I'm deadly serious. For anyone running bolt-ons, they shouldn't consider running anything but the NGK platinums. They are expensive, but they last a long time and the engine loves them. The problems specifically with the Bosch plats is their construction is such that after a few thousand miles, the electrode wears to the point it cannot propagate a strong enough spark. This usually manifests itself in idle problems and sometimes misfire at certain rpms. The plug you posted is the copper NGK plug and indeed it is probably only good for around 10k miles. There is one guy here who had a wacko powerful turbo SR20 and he ran the copper plugs because they were cheap enough that he just replaced the plugs once a month. His engine seemed to like this better.

Plugs
I have found the Copper NGK plugs to work best on my car. I have had numerous ignition problems while running high boost. I have ran NGK Platinum PRF7B's, NGK Platinum BKR7EVX, and NGK Copper BKR7E's and teh Coppers seem to work the best. The copper plugs tend to haev a short life in Boosted cars, but at 1.50 each, I can afford to change them out every week.
