Which is faster???

The 1995-1999 Eclipse GS or the 1996 Dodge Neon.Im lookn for this because im tryn to figure out which engine would b better for my car

The 1996 neon is, if it is a DOHC. The DOHC has 150 hp. 10 more than the Eclipse gs.

They have 10 more hp because (from 2gnt)...
The twin cam Neon motor is rated at 150 hp, while ours is 140. This is mostly due to a more aggressive intake cam. It has been stated that the 150 hp figure is a little 'optimistic' on Chrysler's part. Also, the engine in the Eclipse/Talon has apparently been tuned for more torque, undoubtedly because these cars are ~300 lbs heavier than a Neon.
The neon ecu is also tuned for 93 octane.

But I am not sure if the eclipse engine will fit into the neon because the intake and the exhaust manifold are flipped around, so everthing is backwards.
