Question What is the better buy?

Fabtech (suspension/3.5)
or
Calmini (suspension/3)
or
SLR (any stage suspension)
or
AC (suspension/3)
or
Rancho (suspension/2.5)
or
AC (deluxe suspension/3)

What has the better ride, most dependable, and better buy?

Re: What is the better buy?

Fabtech is 2WD only.
Rancho is not complete/up-to-snuff.
Calmini, AC, and SLR are all good, and that is my order of preference. SLR's service/delivery issues are noteworthy (some have no probs, others big ones). AC is good, they did have some issues with a-arms that were out of spec but should have that corrected. Their service is good too. I just like Calmini's engineering.

Suspensions seem to be best when mixed and matched.

Calmini or SLR a-arms. Either is good. SLR was better because of the zerk fittings that allowed servicing. I think Calmini has these now. Before they squeeked like crazy.

SLR 3-leaf AAL's are better than the Calmini. 10-leafs replacement packs are great for me. Some have had sagging problems, but the articulation advantages are excellent.

Shocks are Bilsteins and better than the Calmini in my opinion.

Shackles, well they're pretty much the same.

Torsion bars, I would get the Nismo ones. Available at a couple of places.

BTW, I get quick, responsive service and replacement parts for anything that fails or wears unusally from SLR, but maybe that's just my experience. Use the phone not e-mail when contacting them.
