We have a 1988 Honda Prelude SI. I am not mechanically inclined but would like to kindly ask for directions in my first attempt to fix this car. 1. The fan went out. What should I check first?
2. The a/c works but stops regularly. 3. Just today, I moved the car from the driveway into the garage and discovered the steering fluid boiling and overflowing. I am humbly asking for any assistance from anyone out there. Thank you. Efren email: [email protected] |

1. Check the fuses for the fan first. If that doesn't work try hooking the fan directly to the battery to make sure it even works.
2. Tha a/c may be low on compressor oil or refrigerant. in this case the a/c will turn on and off. chances are you have a small leak if this is the case. You can have a die test done to find the leak. I would have it filled with 134a refrigerant. Its cheaper. 3. never heard of a pwr steering pump boiling in such a short trip. I cant give you any help with that. Hope you get it figured out |
